I ran into some troubles while making my sorting system. Items seems to be stacking at a much larger radius than normal, which makes rapid-firing droppers gather up stacks of items before it gets sent off by the water stream.
This is a problem because hoppers can only take 46 items at a time. So every time a stack passes by, 18 items will pass right by the filter.
This is undoubtedly a problem created by Spigot, as normal servers no not have this issue. Vanilla already have stacking item entities, so I don't see why Spigot needs to change that. Surely, there would be negligible impact, if any impact at all on the server to make this change.
EDIT: I should also mention, this is not the only instance where the Spigot item stacking has worked against me. In my cow farm, items that would normally fall into a hopper below the cows forms a stack inside the wall and launches off into space. It is that silly.
